1. About this site

Experts Opinion is a personal, non-commercial archive of recorded conversations with researchers, clinicians and other specialists. It is operated privately and is not affiliated with any employer, university, hospital, company or public body.

2. Opinions expressed in the recordings

Every statement made in a video, interview, podcast or transcript is the personal view of the speaker at the time of recording. It is not the position of their employer or any institution they are associated with, unless the speaker explicitly says so in the recording.

Content is published for information and discussion only. Nothing here is medical, legal, financial or professional advice, and it must not be used as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any questions about a medical condition.

3. Accuracy

Recordings reflect the state of knowledge at the time they were made and may later be superseded. Transcripts are produced with automated tools and may contain errors; where a transcript and the recording differ, the recording is authoritative. No warranty is given that the content is complete, current or error-free.

4. Consent and participation

Everyone appearing in a recording has agreed to its publication. If you took part in a recording and wish to have it removed or corrected, contact us and the request will be handled promptly, however our influence is limited to this website, reposts, or copies distributed in the internet are outside our influence.

5. Copyright and use

Videos are hosted on YouTube and remain the property of their respective rights holders. Texts, transcripts and page content on this site may be quoted for private, educational or journalistic purposes with a clear reference and a link back to the source page. Republishing entire transcripts or recordings, or any commercial use, requires prior written permission. Automated bulk scraping, or reuse of this material to train machine-learning models, is not permitted.

6. External links and embedded content

Pages contain embedded YouTube players and links to third-party websites. Those services set their own cookies and apply their own terms and privacy policies; we have no control over, and accept no responsibility for, their content or data handling.

7. Comments

Discussion of the recordings themselves takes place in the comment section on YouTube and is governed by YouTube's rules.

8. Guestbook

The guestbook is for greetings, guest suggestions and contact requests. An account with a verified email address is required to post. You may choose whether an entry is public or visible only to the site administrator and, where relevant, the expert it concerns.

By posting you confirm that the content is your own and that it contains nothing unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, deceptive, advertising, spam, or personal data about other people. Entries that breach these rules may be hidden or deleted without notice, and repeated breaches may lead to the account being removed.

9. Accounts

Keep your login credentials confidential. Accounts are personal and must not be shared. Expert and host accounts may edit only their own profile and their own contributions.

10. Personal data

Only the data needed to operate the site is collected: your email address and any profile details you enter yourself, guestbook entries, newsletter subscriptions and anonymous view counts per video. Email addresses are never published, sold or passed to third parties, and newsletter subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting us.

11. Availability

The site is provided as-is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability. Content may be added, changed or removed at any time.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site or reliance on its content, including content in linked or embedded third-party services.

13. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site develops. The version published on this page is the one that applies.
