Dr. Christian Bollensdorff is an experienced transformation and program management professional with a unique blend of scientific, operational, and organizational development expertise. His career spans leading academic institutions, healthcare organizations, and the pharmaceutical industry, where he has consistently focused on enabling innovation, organizational learning, and sustainable change. Trained as a biophysicist, Christian earned his PhD from Humboldt University Berlin and went on to hold research and leadership positions at the University of Oxford, Imperial College London, Sidra Medicine, Qatar Foundation, and F. Hoffmann-La Roche. Throughout his career, he has led interdisciplinary teams, managed complex R&D portfolios, established research infrastructure, and developed governance frameworks that support both scientific excellence and operational effectiveness. At Sidra Medicine and the Qatar Cardiovascular Research Centre, Christian played key roles in building and scaling research organizations, leading project management offices, supporting laboratory operations, and driving large-scale transformation initiatives. More recently, at Roche, he co-led enterprise learning programs, integrated AI-enabled solutions into learning ecosystems, and helped leaders address capability development across global R&D and operational functions. A passionate advocate for lifelong learning, Christian is particularly interested in the intersection of artificial intelligence, organizational development, and human performance. He believes that successful transformation requires not only technology adoption but also a deep understanding of people, culture, leadership, and continuous learning.
